Approximately 1 in 4 people of West African heritage and 1 in 10 of Caribbean heritage carry the sickle cell trait in the UK. ADAO mobilised donors throughout UK Sickle Cell Awareness Month.

Alpha Delta Alpha Omega has worked hard to extend Alpha Kappa Alpha's legacy of service in the United Kingdom. We are proud of the partnerships we have developed that enable us to impact our local communities by delivering programmes in line with Alpha Kappa Alpha's 2026–2030 International Program targets under the theme Championing Service. We are committed to continuing to meet the needs of our London community while forming lifelong bonds of sisterhood.
