About Us
Our Chapter
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was founded on a mission of five basic tenets that have remained unchanged since the sorority's inception in 1908. Our mission is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of "Service to All Mankind."
Chapter History
A Regal HerStory
Founded in 2023 by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® members in the United Kingdom, the Royal Pearl Society Interest Group was formed to re-establish a graduate presence in London, building on the legacy of the Tau Sigma Omega Chapter (1992–2006). Guided by International Regional Director Carrie J. Clark, the 25-member Royal Pearl Society addressed critical needs in British society through educational programming and service projects focused on youth and family empowerment, community uplift, and social justice.
After two years of impactful community service and operational excellence, the Royal Pearl Society chartered the Alpha Delta Alpha Omega Chapter on May 30, 2025 during "A Regal Affair," a historic weekend celebration attended by Alpha Kappa Alpha's Soaring International President & CEO, Danette Anthony Reed.
Today, the Alpha Delta Alpha Omega Chapter continues to grow and flourish while pursuing Alpha Kappa Alpha's mission of "Service to All Mankind," fostering sisterhood and creating a lasting impact across London and the United Kingdom.
